Guillermo Arbe, Cornell '81, has just released a novel set in Cornell. The book is titled Ithaca, A Novel.
From the author:
The story revolves about power and free will, and how they affect relationships. The backdrop is Ithaca and its beauty, with episodes and situations, places and environments we all experienced to some extent at Cornell. Hopefully, the story will stir some happy memories! There are many ways to stay connected to Cornell and to journey back in time and place, and this might be one more.
I've written the novel in homage to another Cornell writer, Vladimir Nabokov, most especially with regard to his love for the English language.
