Join fellow Cornellians for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes morning at the iconic Del Mar Racetrack. This is an opportunity few visitors ever get to experience.
We'll begin with a guided walk through the backstretch and around the stables before heading to a viewing area immediately alongside the track to watch the thoroughbreds during their morning workouts. Then we'll cross the track to visit the barn of legendary trainer John Sadler, where you'll have the chance to meet the horses up close and capture some memorable photos.
Depending on the morning's activity, we may also have the opportunity to meet trainers, jockeys, owners, jockey agents, and other members of the racing community, offering a fascinating glimpse into the world behind race day.
